CDC COVID-19 Guidelines

In the midst of the COVID-19 quarantine, many healthcare providers are concerned that they may not be able to continue working if their ACLS, BLS, PALS, etc certifications lapse.  In that light, Survival Group has been granted a waiver from the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development to continue training operations.

At Survival Group, our priority is to provide a safe learning environment for our customers and safe working environment for our staff therefore we will be following the instructional change recommendations issued by the American Heart Association.  The AHA’s Training Memo provides additional flexibility, as needed, for training during heightened precautions for COVID-19.  You can access a copy here.

Furthermore, in order to reduce the risk of passing along illnesses to others we will only be offering blended, e-learning programs with 1-on-1 skills testing.  Traditional instructor led training is still on hold until the risk of cross infection diminishes.

Please visit our COVID-19 information page more info on the precautions we are following and our training page access our online registration system.  If you have any questions, please call our office at 203-859-9438.

We are still available to assist you with your AEDs or other emergency equipment.  Please call our office.

We will reevaluate the COVID-19 situation on April 30, 2020 and provide an update at that time.

Thank you for your time and interest in our training programs.
